Disparbud Asked to Concern About Old Museum Construction

City Council Commission C asks Tourism and Culture Dept. (Disparbud) to concern more about old museum construction.

Old museum construction is feared will be collapsed if there are no visitor limitation

"Old museum construction is feared will collapse if there are no visitor limitation," said Santoso, Head of Commission C, Wednesday (10/11).

According to him, there are several old museums in Jakarta with age around 200-300 years old. Such as Fatahillah Museum in Kota Tua and Textile Museum in Kota Bambu, Palmerah, West Jakarta.

Commission C Discussed Local Revenue Obtained By Recreational Sites

"Those are old museums. If there are too many visitors, we afraid its construction will damage," he expressed.

Responding to this, Jakarta Disparbud Head, Tinia Budiarti ensures her side is monitoring and doing maintenance for every old museums in Jakarta routinely.

"So, do not fear. As long as we can handle the visitors, we are sure museum construction can be maintained well," he closed.
